Subconscious.ai / Legal

Acceptable use policy

Effective August 25, 2026

This policy applies to customers, partners, their end clients, and anyone using our website or a demo. It is part of our Terms of use and every customer and partner agreement. If an agreement is stricter, the stricter terms win.

Do not break the law or hurt people

Do not use Subconscious.ai for anything illegal, fraudulent, deceptive, threatening, defamatory, discriminatory, or dangerous. Do not infringe intellectual property or privacy rights. Do not use it to develop weapons or conduct surveillance, profiling, or tracking of identifiable individuals.

Do not pass simulations off as people

Our output is generated by models. It is not survey data and no human answered it.

Do not present output as responses collected from real respondents, panelists, or customers. Do not fabricate testimonials, reviews, endorsements, quotes, or research findings. Do not overstate accuracy or remove our qualifications. If you publish or share results derived from the platform, say that they are simulated.

Do not use output to generate disinformation, false online engagement, or synthetic public opinion. Do not represent it as the views of a real electorate, community, or population to a government body, court, regulator, or press without disclosing that it is simulated.

Do not use it to decide someone's life

Do not use output as the sole or principal basis for a decision that produces a legal or similarly significant effect on a person, including credit, lending, insurance, employment, housing, education, healthcare, or government benefits. Do not substitute it for professional judgment in a medical, legal, financial, safety-critical, or high-consequence setting. Human review is your responsibility.

Do not attack the platform

Do not reverse engineer, decompile, extract models or methodology, train another model on our output, build a competing product, scrape or bulk download the platform, bypass access controls, test security without written permission, share credentials, or introduce malware.

Do not send restricted data

Do not upload personal data unless your agreement expressly places it in scope. Never upload government identifiers, payment information, protected health information, biometric or genetic data, precise geolocation, consumer report data, data about anyone under 16, or special categories under GDPR Article 9. Do not send data you lack the rights and consents to share.

Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations, suspend or terminate access, remove content, and notify authorities where required. We may act immediately for a serious violation. Where a violation is curable and risk is low, we will normally give notice and an opportunity to correct it.

Report a problem

Report abuse to abuse@subconscious.ai. Send security vulnerabilities to security@subconscious.ai and follow the disclosure guidance on our security page.

Changes

We may update this policy. We will change the effective date and give notice under the applicable agreement for material changes affecting customers.
